ADRIATIQUE BRACELET
Much of classical architecture is not made of walls, but of intervals.
In the coastal cities of the Adriatic, historic buildings are organized through arcades and colonnades. The eye does not encounter a continuous surface. It moves through a sequence: column, void, column again. The space between them creates rhythm, passage, and movement.
Adriatique follows this same principle.
The 18k gold Cartier chain does not serve merely as support, but as a path. Along this moving line, Emeralds appear in English setting as points of pause. Each stone briefly interrupts the metal and then returns the eye to continuity.
The piece was not designed to concentrate attention on a single central element. It is built through repetition and interval. The stone does not dominate the jewel; it marks the way.
As with arcades, form is defined not only by material, but by the alternation between presence and space.
